is there anything that will help?

My LO is 9 months old and he has the dirrea bad he has a stomach bug he has pooped so much he is blistering and I make sure to change him as soon as I hear it. Its getting so bad his balls are swelling. Is there anything I can give him to try to slow it down? I've tried jello water and he don't like bananas and he is to little for peanut butter I'm gonna try to get him in his doctor but idk if they will get him in or not!

Stick by the BRAT diet:

Bananas, rice, applesauce, toast.

Since he's too little for the rice and toast, try applesauce.

First thing you can do is protect his little butt. When it's like that, just good ol A&D to get a protective layer on him.
You can try pedialyte, but I'm actually not sure if he's old enough for that or not. So check into it before you do it.

If the regular doctor can't get him in, take him to urgent care. When he's that little he's a serious risk for dehydration.

When he stops pooping, you can give him an oatmeal bath to soothe his skin. They are great for irritation. Poor little guy.  

Keep him full of pedialyte to stay hydrated. & cake on the diaper cream! Warm baths always helped my LO rashes. Hope he feels better soon

I've been loading the but paste on him and he has drank the pedalite plus his formula and he is drinking the jello water I just feel so bad when I have to change his diaper I haven't even been using baby wipes I've been using damp paper towels. He is still having wet diapers from what I can tell I just need something to slow his pooping down

I am going to do that now I've only been using the butt aid.

Have you called your pedi and asked a nurse?

No they are closed now but I'm tempted to call the er since his left nut is swelling.

Do they not have an answering service?? If not, I'd call the nursery at the hospital and ask if a nurse could call you back with some advice.

They can give him meds to stop that. Hope he feels better

I just called and they said they can't give me advice over the phone   now I'm gonna have to make a 30 minute trip there and the doctors are so dumb at that hospital and will just tell me to take him to his doctor tomorrow. I swear its all about the money!

That is so stupid. I've never had a pedi who didn't have an on-call nurse to answer questions!
