Quoting Mama❍:" how recent has this fussiness been going on?... because it sounds just like a growth spurt to me. I'd ... [snip!] ... and as soon as he is ready he will crash and go back to nursing at regular intervals and your supply will be right on track. "
He's been doing it for about 2 weeks now...he's also teething which is lovely. But with my luck he probably is having a growth spurt too.
I nurse him all the time, but I still have crap I have to do around the house too, so I have to give him a bottle more than I like to   Plus after he's been nursing for almost 2 hours my boobs hurt like crazy lol
He does get to nurse until he falls asleep first thing in the morning and last thing before bed time...that I make sure happens every day

I wish it worked   I'll pump while he's in bed, and I get like 3oz tops, when a month ago I was getting 6-8oz every couple of hours. Ugh! It's so frustrating

How much does it cost and where can I get it? lol I don't want to supplement, but it's the only thing that's working right now

I talked to the WIC in Olympia about it, but they said because I have a manual pump already and he nurses 98% of the time (there's been a couple days where he got pumped milk because we were in the car) that I don't need a electric one.
The people are super nice there...but kind of stubborn and pigheaded

You get it from your doctor as a prescription. IDK about cost but it has to be prescribed and it does have side effects but like I said, it really worked for me!

Yes, most WIC offices are this way. Try again. I ended up being given a free electric pump! Are you a stay at home Mom? This normally disqualifies you :-(

I'll have to do that next time we go in...they won't even talk to you if you're not scheduled for that day or the next. It's ridiculous

Do it sooner rather than later too :-) I swear my milk supplied quadrupled!!! You still have to pump in between feedings obviously to keep your supply up, but it will help get you where you need to be

That's what my older sister told me...but all every time I think about doing that, all I can think about is if he'll get the alcohol or not
