Calming baby
posted 14th Mar
The last two nights just as I get ready to go to sleep... our son decides he's going to start squirming and not the simple kick here kick there its a full on omg he's throwing a fit type of moving. How do I get him to be calm?? I'm 23 weeks into my first pregnancy and no one seems to know how to answer this question. Granted I love feeling him move but I also need my sleep.

So you're asking how to calm... a fetus? Am I understanding that correctly?

I'm not sure there are any ways on getting baby to stop kicking? lol.
You just gotta deal with it. Dexter used to kick ALL THE TIME. and i'm mega short so i felt him everywhere, all the time.

It's probably the way you're laying. Make sure you're not consuming too much caffeine, too.

Wait.... What??
You want to calm your baby down in the womb?
I don't think you can.
Did I read this wrong?

babies are on their own schedule. esp in the tummy. when your moving about, it basically rocks them to sleep. when you go to lay down for the night, they wake up due to no movement. maybe you could try going to bed a little earlier. however, this is the joys of pregnancy!

Go to sleep at a different time?..really can't do anything.

Just deal with it, and make sure you don't drink a bunch of caffeine. Your fetus isn't on your schedule.

Yeah, it's cute to a point. Soon she'll have a newborn crying all night and really won't be able to sleep.
