Mucus plug and labor?

posted 14th Mar
I know your mucus plug can regenerate and what not but I'm curious as to how many mothers lost there plug (whether you lost it over a couple weeks or all at once) with no bloody show and weny into labor shortly after... Yesterday I was feeling crampy for half the day and I've been losing my plug for like 2weeks now and this morning I had a big chunk of it come out tmi sorry . Haven't had my bloody show yet but now I am having either mild contractions or BH'S I just started timing them so we will see .....so how many mothers have been through the losing the plug but not the bloody show and still be in labor

I have been losing little bits of my mucus plug for weeks and had what I believe was my bloody show last weekend. I was due yesterday and I am still pregnant.

I lost my plug over half a week with my daughter. Never did have a bloody show. My water broke 5 days after losing plug.

Didn't lose it at all with my first. With my second I started losing it at 28 weeks and it got worse as I got farther along. I had my daughter at 38 weeks but it could of been earlier since I was on meds to stop contractions.

Well I have had three contraction pain that were about 10 mins away from each other and 50 secs long so I guess it's the waiting game .... Or wait 30 mins If they stay regular go in ? I'm only 36 weeks but I was told they wouldn't stop labor at 36 weeks so I'm fairly confused

no, you go in. but generally you get sent home unless your contractions are atleast 5 min apart. or your water breaks.
