I need a break!

posted 14th Mar
I need a break! Im with my daughter 24 hours 7 days a week. I haven't had a good nights sleep since she was born, the most I sleep at once is 4 hours. I know im not the only one that does this, but I need a break! My husband says I need to suck it up, but he really doesn't understand! I barely have time for myself. I get no interaction with anyone, I go to the store just so I can get out of the house. Don't really have family, or friends. And its not because im bad person, just because I prefer not to party or leave my daughter behind. I just wish I had some kind of support from someone :/

why can't your husband watch her so you can get a break?

You have to party and leave your kid behind in order to have friends? Lol. Why don't you get a job? I never understand why some SAHMs say the things you do but don't do anything about it. Go to work or school so you can get out the house and meet new people. Maybe look into some play groups or mommy and me classes.

My husband works 12 days in a row, and pretty much all day. So when he's home he just wants to relax. And I do go to school, but only and hour on Tuesday and Thursdays. The town I live in doesn't have any play group things or mommy and me stuff. And I also don't feel comfortable leaving my LO with someone I don't know. And no I don't have to party, but that's pretty much what people do in this town.

I can relate 100%
My daughter just turned 3 months... I take my time walking around wal-mart just to stay out for a few extra minutes,
I feel horrible wanting a break... but how can we be the moms our kid(s) need if we're on the verge of a nervous break down???

That sounds like me! lol But I have to take my daughter with me. I have no one to leave her with. So I have to keep her out of reach of things or she'll grab stuff and yank them down. She thinks its a game lol

Well something is going to have to give because you're just going to end up being unhappy.

I don't live near my family -_- One time was walking through a clothing store and the isles were literally one cart wide. So I had to walk fast to not give her time to grab stuff. She was laughing the entire time trying to grab clothes lol

my little boy pulls the price tags off the shelves too and the whole thing comes down! LOL
I don't get away from my 16 month old, haven't had a night out since he was born but i'm not the type to go out anyway, just chill in front of the TV with a movie and chocolate bar and i'm happy
after running around after him all day its so good
I go out for walks with him though exercise for me, fresh air for him and we don't go to a mom and baby group or anything.

Since its been warming up outside Ive been taking her for walks too, and to the park. I don't like going out, just wish I had someone to stop by every once in a while to talk too, or the opposite. I literally have just my husband here!

I know this will sound stupid but what does SO stand for? The first 4 weeks of my babies life I just stayed home unless I needed to go the drs. We had no air conditioning in our car and it was summer so I kept in the A/C. Arizona desert heat is just too much!
