I agree. I would feel selfish for continuing the pregnancy while knowing my baby would need surgery after surgery.

The girl's condition is rare and it's not something they expected I guess. They just assumed it was a cleft palate. Also, this girl is probably over 10 years old now so it was some time ago.

I was just reading that the family adopted another child with the same condition. Not as severe though. The two are only a few months apart in age.
