Quick question about conceiving!

My husband and I are not trying to conceive or prevent. We had unprotected sex on my fertile days, but he did not finish inside me. I am currently 8 days late for my period, and have a lot of thick white cervical mucus. I took a test two days ago and it was negative, but my period still hasn't shown up.
Any advice, or similar stories?

If you're not preventing, you're TTC. It doesn't matter that he didn't finish in you. It's still possible to get pregnant using the POM.

Just cause you're not preventing doesn't mean you're ttc. i wasn't preventing, but i didn't want a baby. (wasn't preventing cause Im allergic to ALL condoms and i couldn't afford the birth control with the bad insurance my mom had.)

If you're not actively using BC, then yes, that's TTC. "Letting it happen" is also TTC.

Ttc is TRYING to conceive. Just cause you aren't on bc doesn't mean you are TRYING! Some people can't afford it, and some places that give it out for free won't do so if you have insurance.
Some people can't use any forms of bc. (i have a friend who used every form and they all made her sick and messed up her body and period. Dr's kept taking her off one and putting her on another )

I know what TTC is. I've seen "not trying, not preventing" for people that are TTC but not freaking out about it. There are other ways of TTC.
