Potty training a 3 y/o girl

How do I go about potty training her? I think she's ready because when she's in the bath tub if she has to pee she'll jump out and go pee on her potty. I've tried letting her run around in her big girl panties but she tends to have accidents and I ask her if she has to go and she'll tell me no. Should I buy pull ups or just skip over the whole pull up thing?

About every 30 minutes take her and put her on the potty. She will get the hang of it after a few days. I never used pull ups.

no pull ups, just put her in big girl undies and take her to the potty every 20 minutes. she'll get the hang of it soon.

I mainly used pull ups at night with my DS. I found if I used pull ups during the day he'd use them as if they were just diapers.

   This is what we did with our 3yr old. We got big girl undies we put her on the potty every 30mins there where alot of accidents. It took awhile for her to poop in the potty so she sometimes ended up pooping in her pants or just pooping early morning when she still had a pull up lol. Accidents are going to happen but it will help her learn.

I tried big girl undies when we trained dd and she would always pee in them so i did the naked method and she never had any accidents. After a week she figures out how to wear the undies and still use the potty. Whenever she has pull ups on tho the just goes in them i think its becauwe she is being lazy tho

I dont agree with this, kids then think that going to the potty is a reason to be given treats. If thats your parenting style then fine but in the long run it can really work against you, sweets and potty training should never be used together. If anything perhaps a sticker. Children need to learn to use the potty simply because its something we all must learn to do, just make it fun by reading books during potty time or bringing out a few small toys.

Been working fine for them and a lot of parents suggested it without having a problem with their older children demanding treats for taking a crap.
