First of all, if you are not religious, please don't answer the poll. Obviously I don't expect non-Christians to believe in Angels and I just want to know how many Christians do/don't.

So DH was watching Creflo Dollar, and Creflo talks about Angels as though a lot of people don't believe in them. I asked DH about that and he said a lot of Christians like to debate whether Angels exist or not.
That confuses me, because Christians are supposed to follow the Bible, so how can you not think there are Angels? Doesn't the Bible clearly acknowledge them? Honestly curious.

So I felt the need to share my opinion that I do not believe in Angels but I do believe in Ghosts. I am also not religious though lol.


Do the people who do not believe in Angels believe in Ghosts?

i grew up catholic and we believed in angels. i can't say i really know a lot about the bible. i remember reading stories and stuff in elementary school, but they were probably the kid versions of bible stories, you know?

anyway.... i think different kinds of christians believe different things about angels. like, catholics believe in angels, but i think it's not really that people turn into angels when they die. kwim? idk about other christians, though.

Yes, I know what you mean. That is my understanding as well. Angels are here to serve us, but as far as I know, there's nowhere in the Bible that says humans turn into Angels when we die.
If that's not correct, anybody feel free to correct me.

I'm Christian and I don't believe in the bible.

I never knew there were Christians who didn't believe there were angels. They often play important roles in the Bible, so clearly they exist (if you believe the Bible to be 'the truth'). Plus... Lucifer was an angel. Do the non-angel-believing Christians also not believe Satan exists?

I think there are just those who believe humans can 'turn into' angels when in Heaven, and those who do not. The former makes absolutely NO sense to me. Nowhere in the Bible does it say anything about sprouting wings in the afterlife. Plus, going from a human (who was made in God's image) to an angel would be a downgrade.

Sorry! Lol. I *think* I believe in ghosts as well though. I say *think* because I'm not sure what the Bible says about it, if anything. But I feel there is a lot of evidence to support the existence of ghosts. My Mom is Baptist, she doesn't believe in ghosts. She says God wouldn't keep up here like that. I'm really not sure about the whole ghost thing though, as far as the religious aspect. But they scare the ever-loving crap out of me, sometimes I get worked up and pray to God that no ghost is ever able to show themselves to me, because I don't want to know if they really exist THB! Lol

when you say "you believe christ is your savior" - where did you get that knowledge from? did you dream it? you heard it somewhere. that "somewhere" was the bible.

No. I believe the stories in the bible are purely allegorical about Jesus.

I just don't know what else our souls would live as in heaven. I think an angel is a way for us on earth to picture our loved ones in ultimate beauty. But whether or not were technical angels when we die, well we'll find out when we get there I suppose.

I do believe on angels but idk exactly who or what angels are I suppose. I feel they protect me cause there have been times I've felt something was physically watching over me in a protective way, not a ghost.
