butt cream?

What do you use on your little one, when you absolutely have to use something? Which brand do you prefer, and where do you get it? How much does it cost? With my first it was Balmex, because that's what I was given. Second time I used Boudreaux Butt Paste. This time, I have not had to use much, and again am using the Boudreaux. I'm thinking about switching to an all natural formula though (Boudreaux makes one) but wanted to know what other mothers have found work best?

I have always loved A&D or Balmex

I use the Aveeno Diaper Rash cream. It's amazing bc it has tons of zinc oxide. I had tried Desitin, Boudreauxs, and a few other kinda and that one was best

my pediatrician recommends no cream ever unless its prescribed. however, he did recommend corn starch powder as it draws moisture away from body. cream only locks in the moisture and prolongs healing. i guess its a personal preference but i only used the starch.

Powder is not good for baby's lungs I thought. Corn starch makes my child break out, and A&D ointment does not treat his rashes.

Boudreaux Butt Paste FTW.
I've used it for all my babies, I wouldn't use anything else.

i usually put it in the diaper away from my baby, you dont need to use that much. like i said its a personal preference. however, my babies never had diaper rash. what i thought was diaper rash in my middle son was actually eczema and treated with Rx.

His is actually a yeast infection. He has Nystatin butt cream, but my pediatrician suggested putting buttpaste over the Nystatin to help keep it in place.
