Has anyone else's contractions stopped?

posted 13th Mar
Yesterday I woke up at 5am with contractions that were about 3-4 min apart and not too painful and it went on until 9am. Then it stopped. I took a nap at 11 and woke up at 12 then it was going on again from 12-1pm. Then they were further apart and by 6pm I was at the hospital. The NST picked up contractions up to level 8-10 every two minutes. They had me walk an hour then rechecked me and they had stopped. Now today there is like one every 20-45 minutes and they feel different. Yesterday they gradually grew tight then held tightness then let loose. Today they just feel like a crampy pain. Is that normal? The nurse said baby is fine according to NST. I have another tomorrow. Braxton hicks are not regular intervals and they go away when you move but these I has were regular and got stronger as I walked so they were real...so why'd they stop? The hospital did not seem concerned so I'm not worried, just confused..

early/prodromal labor. totally normal. Your body is gearing up and practicing. You still have plenty of time, just relax and don't stress about it. I know you are ready to meet baby, but labor will start when it's meant to.

  This

Happened to me this weekend. Contractions off the charts every 2 minutes for HOURS. They started slowing down and then eventually stopped. It's just your body's way of preparing itself.

This. With my first I had some pretty bad contractions from 32 weeks on. Trust me you'll know when you need to be concerned about them lol.

Yes it's normal. When my labor started with my daughter they were coming regularly, every 7-10 minutes for almost an hour and then it just shut off from 11 pm to 5 am. ... then it was like labor started all over again. You're almost there! Woo hoo!!

I am due a day after you and I have been experiencing the same thing for 3 days. I will have very strong and regular contractions for a couple hours and it just stops. It's so aggravating. I know the baby will come when he is ready but even those contractions are exhausting. I keep thinking it's time but guess not. Good luck.
