Finger Painting

How old was your child when you started doing activities like finger painting? Are there any other fun craft activities to do with a 15 month old?

Rory will finger/face paint with jello? Well... Any food you give him really lol

Zora's the same way with food. She seems to think mac and cheese is some sort of hair product.

when she was 8 months.

My 3 year old loves helping me make lunch like teddy bear toast and ants on a log, and then we always make waterbottle crafts, where you put a buncha crap like glitter and beads in the water bottle, fill it to the top with water after, super glue the cap and then it makes a fun toy that they helped make. go to pintrest, they have so many awesome craft ideas

My son is still only 9 months, but when I was a city art teacher I fingerpainted with kids 18 months old so I dont think 15 months is too young. As long as she doesnt put everything in her mouth anymore youre good.

Does she know how to hold a jumbo crayon yet, so you can color?
maybe make instruments like maracas out of a bottle and she can help paint it and then play with it later?

Oh lord. He puts EVERYTHING in his hair. I don't think he'll be able to eat clothed until probably 3. He's THAT messy.

lol have you given up on bibs too?

Earlier Zora tried to keep her shirt clean while having a popsicle by pulling the collar way out so it just dripped on to her stomach

We've never done bibs unless we're out. Just strip him.. and this is why...

That last picture cracked me up. And I still cannot get over the amount of hair that kid has!

He has sooo much more now. I'll get you a picture from today. Poor boy is sick so he's been all cuddly. I finally had to take him in because he was refusing fluids. He hasn't peed since yesterday  

Had to get out his sister's seat because he puked all over his yesterday and it's drying.

Yeah it sucked. He started puking Monday night. He puked all over his dad (lol glad it wasn't me). Then puked all over his car seat on the way home from picking him up from my parents after we did a test we had to do for school.
