so why am i having this pain now tmi

posted 13th Mar
I have only really had pain from where i tore up at the top part. Of my vagina and its starting to ease up. Well i had him 8 days ago and ever since yesterday i feel like i was punched down there and it hurts! My muscles are a tiny bit sore and my bones down there hurt some to. Why wasn't i feeling this right at the beginning along with all the other? I mean now it hurts so bad its painful to get up to get my son

well, i didn't have a vaginal birth, so i can't really speak for it specifically... but, recovery freakin hurts. lol. things are going back to the way they used to be and moving around and forming back up. it's not pleasant.

I felt that way for about 2 weeks. Felt like someone punched my pubic bone. You didn't get any pain meds? They helped me out a lot

My doctor only gave me motrin he wouldn't give me anything else because i am breast feeding.

That's odd. My dr gave me oxycodien and I was breastfeeding. They gave me 5mg I was supposed to take 2 every 4-6 hours but I only took 1 every 8 hours unless I really needed it. I asked if it was safe since I was breast feeding and they said it was fine. I guess it was because it didnt affect my lo at all

that's kind of silly. i know alot of women who breast fed that were allowed to take pain medication.

Could it be because I tore but I didn't have stitches?? I mean it's bad but I am managing and taking my Motrin as needed. But he didn't give me stitches so I am thinking maybe that is a possible reason but I am not sure.

hmm, maybe. if you didn't tear much, you may not have needed stitches. ripped skin repairing itself doesn't sound like something fun to go through at all, though

I mean it looked horrible to me but he said it wasn't bad. And it made it worse where I tore at, but not enough for them. I just wish the motrin helped more!

I would call and ask for something. I had to take motrin and oxy for about a week because I tore.

Oh yeah, I remember that lasting for a couple weeks. Ugh it was so hard to sit down for like two weeks!! Can you ask for another doctor to see you and maybe write you a prescription?
