My husband does it once in a while but dosnt expect me to go down on him so its not that big of a deal with us, but I would deff tell him too, if he wanted me too, its just nice to see that he gives a crap about his hair in my face, it makes me want to do it for him, and I can actually his whole d*ck, which is a huge turn on, he dosnt shave it bald tho, he uses his clippers and does quick run thru...

My fiance' used to all the time, like shave it ALL THE WAY down with a razor, but I got tired of the stuble rubbing me the wrong way so I told him to stop. I didn't realize he'd stop COMPLETELY because now his crotch looks like something from the 70's. >.<
I've been trying to figure out a way to nicely tell him I want him to just trim it down a bit lol because, like you said, going down on him is a little unpleasant.

He refuses to.

He says it's either all or nothing. (Either he shaves or leaves it completely naturally)
I can't stand it when he shaves, I call it sandpaper dick. The stubble leaves me with rug burn lol

But he refuses to just trim it up a little bit.

I manscape my SO every few weeks or he wouldn't do it and he gets really hairy.

Hahahaha I had to tell him. Every time I went down there I my nose was getting tickled! He didn't know so I'd just tell him, guys don't care about their hair lol well most don't.

i never have to ask because he hates hair and has it always cleaned up thank god!!! i would tell him that if he doesnt atleast trim up a bit then you wont go down on him till he does

Yeah, we're pretty open.. I'm just always afraid of hurting his feelings, even though once I finally do get something out he never gets upset lol he's super laid back, I'm just afraid of being a dick to him because he's so sweet to me lol.
