Can I adopt?

Ok.... so I've always knownI wanted to adopt... I'm now on the road that will allow me to do so in several years. I'm thinking ahead...I'm not super rich....chances are I never will be. SO what does it take to be able to adopt? I think in about 4 years I'll be ready to give DD a sibling.   I have four adopted cousins, but I'm not sure what it takes to be able to adopt.... it seems people are always waiting to adopt, yet thousands of children remain un-adopted....

Well it depends. Are you planning on adoption in the states, another country, a newb or an older child?

If you can provide for a child financially. I don't see why not.
