Has anyone ever used one? Is it a helpful test to take? SO and I have been TTC sense I have got Mirena removed in Oct 2011

ah, i myself was a 9 year mirena user and had mine removed in Jan 12. i can say that my cycles were longer after having removed and without the help of home ovulation predictors we probably would still be trying. have you tried that route yet?

I was using them but only like 1 time a day but that was several months ago. Maybe I should try more aggressively using OPKS?

yes, you have to use them to see if your getting a surge. are your cycles regular? i downloaded the p tracker app to my phone and tracked everythiing from symptoms to cycle days to when we did the deed. it helped me learn my cycles better and thus use the opk's more effectively. at one point i thought my pipes were done broke after mirena for 9 years, but they were not!

I have an app on my phone that I have been using to keep track. I thought they were normal for awhile and then they started getting longer and now they have been consistent.

I absolutely hate Mirena! I will never get it again or recommend it for someone else.

yes that is exactly what happened to me, they were exactly 30 days for the first 4 months then slowly got a little longer and longer. what i found was i was ovulating way later than i thought i was so we were totally missing the mark for the first 8 months of trying. then, i did opks for like 2 months, and bam! here we are, six months later

i am the total opposite, i love love love it and plan on getting it again after i give birth!!! but everyone is different.
