Has anyone took this medication?

Lupron? It is a hormone shot that you can only take up to 6 months due to bone loss. I am having to take it for pain (suspected endometriosis) along with Aygestin (Norethindrone). It was either that or exploratory surgery....have any of you had weird side effects to this? My muscles are CONSTANTLY aching...my back is always hurting etc. It only started after I took the first shot...I don't know it that is the problem or the pills are....ugh this is so freaking annoying. I have had issues in this department since I was 17 years old....i just want to figure out wtf is wrong and fix it....I can't stand painful sex, periods, (when I actually get a period), pain in my ovaries all the time due to PCOS,ANYMORE. This turned into a vent, sorry....Anyone with good advice who has PCOS, or Endometriosis I would love to hear it!

Sorry. If you find a way to stop endo pain i would happily try as well. MIL had a hysterectomy but she is still in pain because the adhesions are in so many othrt places

well, they aren't sure it is endo. I have all the symptoms of it, but he said until he does a laparscopic surgery, he couldn't tell me for sure. He also said that even if he did the surgery and it wasn't endo, it was possible he couldn't tell me what was causing all the pain...and i would just have to deal with it.I am just sick and tired of NEVER having a period...and when i do it is horrible, can't have sex unless i want to lay there in pain....it just sucks and I want it to be over. I just want a freaking diagnosis. I know I have pcos, but what is all this other smurf   Makes me sad. I am sorry for you too...hopefully they will come out with an awesome vagina drug that cures anything wrong up there lol.

That would be so awesome. Sex is so painful for me. But I seem to not have any of the endo symptoms while pregnant which is such a plus but then I get pregnancy symptoms lol.

Did he say that he would treat the endo during the laparoscopy if that's what it was? Also, if you take the pill, have you considered staying on it so you don't get a period at all? I actually feel worse on the pill and stopped it for a few months just to let my body get some normalcy.

It's funny though, the symptoms were never as bad as what they have been since having a child. I had a c section.
