Could it be another chemical preg.?

posted 12th Mar
Hi ladies! In need any advice I can get. I had a chemical pregnancy last month. Period was due Feb 9 or 10. Took a few tests. All came positive though the lines where extremely faint. Then on Feb 14th I took another one that was negative and that same afternnon I got my period. Friends told me that from now on I should not test early to avoid knowing in case of a chemical preg. Well I guess I dont learn. Idk why but today something kept telling me to take the last unused preg test I had in my dresser. One of those digital ones. After a minute it read pregnant Now I am a mess in my head. Am I really pregnant again? If I am will it be another chemical? What are the chances of having a chemical back to back? Im just so confused and nervous. Im wishing I hadnt jumped the gun. I dont think Im even going to tell my husband because I dont want him getting his hopes up again. I want at least one of us to be spared the pain if this does happen again. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you

Im pretty sure having chemicals back to back are really really rare, like they almost never happen.
Get confirmed by a doc, Thats what i did for this pregnancy, (First was chemical)

If you had your period Feb 14th and a neg test and are now getting a positive then you're pregnant again. As for if it's a chemical or not, I can't say. Best of luck to you for a healthy full term pregnancy.

None of that is factual. That's just your opinion. A chemical pregnancy can happen at any time, even back to back. I had two back to back. Don't give out information on here if you don't know what you're talking about.

It's not an opinion, just something i had read that another woman was told becasue she had one and her doctor told her not to worry because they don't happen back to back.
With this pregnancy i was actually scared that it was going to happen again or i was going to lose this baby as well, that i didn't want to tell anyone about it, nor did i allow myself to get excited again.

I know the exact feeling, I was so afraid i was going to lose the next one also.
I was confirmed by ultrasound, i was scared and didn't even want to look at the screen, but she was there.
It helped only a little bit though...

Uh, that's totally not true. Miscarriages can happen back to back, to back, to back.. so why couldn't a chemical?

OP, since it has been picked up by a digital (and they typically take higher levels of HCG) I would take that as a reassuring sign. Best of luck to you!

We had a chemical pregnancy also, we actually ended up having two of them. What I can tell you is that atleast for me, when I would take a regular test they would come up positive but the digitals wouldn't. I tested positive in October with two first responses and decided to take a digital... Even though I was scared. It said Pregnant! I went into the doctor to get it comfirmed, it had to be done through blood my urine came back negative. I am now 23 weeks pregnant, so in my opinion the digitals are worth it.

Thats great, congrats and good luck with your pregnancy! Ijust hope for the best but remain calm without getting too excited like I did last time. With my last chemical pregnancy the digital one also had read pregnant. I should of waited until a missed period but I just had to do it early idk why

UPDATE!!!

Ok I'm trying to not get excited but... heres a pic of yesterday and today. Yesterday (top) was the day I was expecting my period. This morning (bottom) is the day after I was expecting my period. My lines are getting darker unlike last time and that gives me some hope!!!
