Average Weight Gain

I've never posted in here, but I figured I would get better answers since my daughter is almost a toddler now!

My question is how much do kids normally gain between 11 and 13-14 months? My daughter is 11 months and still in her 6-9 month clothes, but my family/friends have given me a lot of 12 and 18 month summer clothes. I am thinking exchanging the ones I haven't washed yet because I am not sure if she will get into them or not before the weather gets cold.

Hrm, how much does she weigh now and was she born early? My son was born a month early and will be 18 months next week. He only weighs 20 pounds and still mostly fits his 9-12 month clothing and some shirts that are 18 months. When Colin was 11 months, I believe he was 16 pounds so it just kind of varies. He's been consistent with weight but he always stays at a certain weight for a month to three months.

It just depends on when your daughter will be hitting a growth spurt. I would exchange a couple of the clothes just so she can wear them for right now. She might hit a growth spurt so I would personally hold off on exchanging all of the clothes. I hope that helps!

She weighs just over 16 pounds right now. She hasn't gained hardly any weight since she was 6 months old. She weighed 15 pounds 14 ounces at her 6 month appt. She wasn't early. She is just petite. I keep thinking she will hit a growth spurt. I guess I will hold on to some of the clothes in case. Thanks!

Hrm, she might be hitting a growth spurt soon but I could be wrong. If the doctor says she's fine then I wouldn't worry much about it.  

i think it just depends my son is almost 13 mons and only weight 20lbs he is just long and lean.
