help confused on opk test

ok this morning at 10 am I took a clear blue digital ovulation test. it showed on the screen a circle which means i'm not ovulating. well just now at 650 pm I took another one and it is now showing a blinking smiley face which means it detected a surge. i'm just confused on how it was neg and now positive in the same day!! Don't get me wrong i'm happy just confused. it is the 10 pack one.

You can surge at any time of the day. This morning you were probably close and surged late this afternoon or evening. Good luck! I got pregnant the first mont of using those, after years of Internet cheapies

i looked it up online and it was a blinking smiley face which means I should be ovulating this week. this test I took not only detects the lh surg but also estrogen
when it is blinking it detects estrogen which happens before you get the lh
so i'm happy I will ovualte soon

thats how it goes; thats why you test more than once in the day cause you never know when you could ovulate....so testing twice if not more ( up to individual ) give you that better chance of detecting your surge just as you did.
