Leap pad vs innoTab 2

What is the difference between these two, and which do you ladies recommend?
Is it just brand preference or what? I'm looking into buying one for my daughter, She's 5.

For a 5 year old you should just get a kindle or something.

Games for Innotab 2 and Leap Pad 2 are like 20 bucks a piece, where you can get plenty of free games on a kindle, and many other games are just $1 or $2.
You can put parental controls so they can't have internet access, and can't purchase without a code.

ETA: DD is 3 and gets bored with her Innotab 2 and would rather play on my Kindle Fire.

We picked the Innotab 2 because you can put in an SD card, which you can not with a Leappad.

Yea I was actually considering getting a kindle but do they really have cartoon games and such? Thats what my daughter is into

If you download games, or put videos on it. My kids fill up the internal doing videos all the time.

Aawww :/ i bought one for jay la week ago and ge lost it too... I cant find it lol it was used but still lol it was like new... Oh well.

me neither! my mom bought for xmas...it has a mommy mode where it can turn into a regular tablet for you! u use a password. and you control what apps is on the nabi mode( kids mode)
