I am getting so fed up

posted 12th Mar
My 2 year old is driving me nuts and now i know why they call them the terrible twos. I have tried everything i have tried popping him on the hand or the butt. I have tried timeouts. I have tried redirecting him and he keeps getting worse. He throws his toys at his baby brother everytime he throws a toy he gets them taken away now cause ive had about enough of it. Hes been throwing tantrums when he doesnt get his way. Yea i know its part of being a 2 year old but i feel like its getting worse and not getting better. I cant even go out to restaurants with him anymore cause he refuses to sit anywhere for more than a few minutes. He has starting this whole screaming at the top of his lungs thing. He is getting really picky on what he eats lately and he was never like that. Im just at a loss he was such a sweet baby up until about 3 weeks ago. anypne else have issues with their 2 year old and does anything help?

Youre not going to like hearing this but welcome to having a 2 year old boy. My son acted just like that if I didn't take him outside or do activities to wear him out.

you have to stick with one punishment changing them confuses them, and that is why my 3 yr old who wont sit still still sits in a high chair.

Lol we call that either the baby chair or the special seat. My 4 year old girl hates them. And OP, I'm afraid it'll probably get worse before it gets better. Mines 4 and she still acts like a cave person...and sometimes I get the "don't you ever make that kid mind" looks... She has her days where she's just awful...

Oh and guess what she did today!! She threw a nice NEW roll of toilet paper in the toilet AFTER she had a bowel movement!! :/

my son unraveled a whole roll of toilet paper before and it ended up throughout the whole house. I was just trying to put a load of laundry in. I learned my lesson though and now i close all the bathroom doors

I wish I could lock mine out of the bathroom, but she's almost 100% potty trained. Yes she's 4 and still not 100%, but it's mostly just nights, and a few accidents if traveling. She's going at her own pace.

yea than locking her out isnt gonna help any. im gonna be starting to potty train my 2 year old but for now im gonna bring his potty out in the living room with us that way its easier than slowly start moving it to the bathroom
