Tips on a Natural Delivery
posted 12th Mar
So, I opted to go with my regular doctor for the birth, mostly because he has been my doctor for years and I really do trust him.
Having said that though, I am starting to have some concerns about delivering naturally at a hospital with a doctor.
Does anybody have any tips?

I'm sorry this is off topic, but your SN is hilarious.

I delivered my first naturally at a hospital...I guess my biggest suggestion would be to labor at home as long as possible. I'm not sure about how your hospital will be but the one I delivered at puts all laboring women on fall precautions, which meant I wasn't allowed to stand up at all. Which standing and walking helped me a lot through my contractions. Also to make sure you talk with your doctor about your birthing plan, take a tour of the hospital so you know where to go, and if you can, pre-register so you're not filling out a bunch of paperwork while you're in labor.
