Maternity clothing/sizes/ experiences

Not sure where I should put this post but I'm having an issue figuring this out so maybe someone can help! ;)

I never bought any maternity clothes with my first (plus it was winter so I wore big sweaters n such) but this time I'm getting bigger faster & want to be comfy this summer (due early august)

For maternity jeans.. if I normally wear a 0/1 but fit into a 2 regular jeans right now (minus buttoning them!) would I buy a 1 or be ok with buying a size 2 maternity jeans? I am looking online for cheap/used ones right now so I can't really try them on. :/ However, I did go shopping for later this past weekend and got a pair of maternity shorts at destination maternity size XS and they fit fine.. not too tight or anything. I tried on the smalls and they fit too just more loose. I didn't think about it I should have tried on a pair of jeans while I was there!

Or if you know of anywhere cheaper to buy cute maternity clothes feel free to share ;)

You would buy your normal size. So if you wear a 1 not pregnant, you would most likely wear a 1 pregnant.

They say to stick with your normal size. I normally wear a 1/3, so I bought an XS and they fit fine. For shirts, I just buy regular shirts in a medium, because maternity clothing is expensive.

You just buy your normal size.

haha yea that's what I was doing, buying some regular shirts in M from forever 21, they usually have decent priced shirts but I wanted to get a pair of jeans I'm already sick of wearing yoga pants and sweats!  

Normal sizes, but I find that towards the end (now) I like to buy a size bigger just so I'm comfy because at this point I can't stand anything tight on my belly right now.

I hated paying maternity clothes prices.
I always wore stretch/yoga pants and the shifts with the scrunched sides to grow with my belly.

Thanks everyone!! I'll prob buy a pair or two my size for now then maybe switch back to my yoga pants towards the end  

Pre pregnancy I wore a size 5 (I have wider hips). Im going on 36 weeks tomorrow, and I'm still in size small, and extra small, maternity. I didn't start filling out the smalls until maybe three weeks ago. So for me, I've had to try everything on, because anything maternity with my pre pregnancy size on it is just way too big.
