I feel like I'm on my period! I'm bleeding and have cramps just like a period but my period is usually around the 20-25th... I know some women say this happens after removal and its your body getting used to it being out, but my question is... Is it good I'm already bleeding as opposed to not? Does this mean my fertility will be back faster? Thanks ladies!!

I'd still wait one complete cycle. I bled after having mine removed as well and my doctor said not to consider it a period. Had mine out at the end of Sept and waited until the end of October to start trying. By Christmas I was pregnant with my current pregnancy.

My friends been off of it since August and still no luck getting pregnant, then you hear about those who get off it within the month are pregnant. So good luck to you I am hoping its soon !!

I'm hoping it doesn't take too long! Mirena was great for me but I do hate not being able to get pregnant right away after removal... Congrats on your little one by the way!!

Thanks. And it does suck about having to wait but there are a TON of stories of miscarriage from getting pregnant too soon. Mirena was great for me too.
