Would you call me crazy if...

posted 12th Mar
I told you I was still hearing things? SO talked to my sister about it and even she said she's worried about how I'm dealing with all of this. Which I really didn't want her to get in the middle of this, she is dealing with enough right now.
I'm still having nightmares nightly, I swear I can hear him crying in the next room sometimes, or I will just randomly see him crawling across the floor.
I'm even doing it with my kids. It's happened a few times but last night I was still up doing things when I swore I heard my oldest scream for me and it sounded like she was choking or something so I ran into her room and she was passed out.
I don't want to talk to anyone about this. I like just getting it all out on here where I can choose to respond or not.
But now that my sister has even confronted me about it I'm worried I'm going crazy.
What are your thoughts on what I should do.

If you don't know what's going on go read some of my threads from 2 weeks ago.

I don't think you're crazy. Dh has visual and auditory hallucinations from time to time but I do think you need to talk to a therapist or grief counselor.

I don't think you're crazy but it does sound similiar to ptsd with the audio

which makes sense with what you have been through.

I have never read any of your other posts. But going by what you have said I would honestly look into talking to a professional. It could escalate into something more. I'm sorry, but I am just going to be blunt. If you are seeing things that aren't there you could be putting your children and yourself in danger.

I wouldn't call you crazy, just because of what you've been going through. It's still "fresh"

I don't think you're crazy. This is a normal reaction to what has happened to you. I'm so sorry. I agree with Colleen about PTSD with auditory hallucinations.

I don't think it's crazy. I do think you might be having a hard time dealing with your grief on your own though. And I might suggest talking to a counselor about it.

I'd talk to a counselor. It could easily be PTSD. It doesn't mean you're crazy, but it means you sometimes need help coping with things. *hugs*
