OK in my state you can be employed at 14 just can't work over a certain amount of hrs. Our fast food places are crawling with workers ages 14-15. Second this thread made me dumber sorry but it did. You're already pregnant talk to relatives or your baby daddy's family for a place to stay till the child is born. Talk to churches and so on in the help of making your choice.at 14 I lacked the maturity to be a mom but have 5 friends who had kids at 14 and were fine. They all have their kids and the kids are all awesome. However they had help from their parents. Good luck

First off id like to say that all of you bashing her have NO idea what shes going through or her story. She asked a simple question not for your opinions on teen mothers! My 18th birthday is next month and my daughter is due May 4th and im currently engaged to the father of my child. Yes, there are some saccerfices that need to be made but im doing what i need to for my daughter and i couldnt be happier!! Dont judge her parrenting skills by her age because theres teens out there who take better care of children then "Adults" just saying. Anyways, your parents have every right to not want to support a child they did not create especially being that your still in school and cant get a job at this time. How ever, i do think its wrong that they are not looking into other options. I personally dsisagree with abortion unless there is health issues. I would look into adoption and speak to your parents about it. Seriously, please explore your ptions before making a big decision like that. I wish you the best of luck sweetie. Yes, some teen parents end up being wonderful parents. I would like to say that I was a great mother even though I was really young when I had my first.
But it doesn't change the fact that at 14 she is giving up her life as a young woman to be a mother, especially since she has not support system to take care of said child.
OP I wish you the best of luck with what ever you choose because no matter what it's going to be very hard on you mentally and emotionally.
But in my honest opinion you should adopt or abort. You are so young and still have so much to experience. You have so many more years to make babies. Live your life while you can.

My bestfriend had her baby at 14 two years later still going strong. Please keep it, this baby deserves to live.

You're an idiot. Your friend isn't taking care of that child, her parents are. No one told her to kill a baby, they told her to abort a clump of cells. Besides, many suggested adoption too. A 14 yr old has no idea what it takes to raise a child, a 14 yr old should be thinking about what she's going to wear to homecoming and what kind of career she'd like to pursue, not stressing about raising a child.

She'd be aborting a clump of cells, not a baby. So GTFO of here with that BS and just because she's got pregnant doesn't mean it's her responsibility to give it to another famil, there are hundreds of children in the system waiting to be adopted, people can adopt them instead of waiting for newborns, older children need loving homes too.
