None of those "jobs" will pay you enough to be able to buy diapers and formula for a month, let alone the million other expenses it takes to raise a child. SMH children having children

I've talked to my mom about it all she said was she didn't care that I'm against abortion, I can't be pregnant and in her house and that abortion was my only option if I wanted to stay.

You're right the longer I keep it the more likely I'd try to parent of have more time to convince my mom. Problem is I can't even get my mom to consider that. I hope things can still work out with an abortion. I always have wanted to be a mom.

You have time to be a mom. You are too young right now to be one. You are only 14. I becaem a mom at 19.. and it was hard then.... If you need help with anything reguarding the abortion, there is a forum that you can ask questions.

Maybe open adoption? I'm against abortion unless under certain conditions and I am pretty sure theres a couple out there that wants a baby and can't have one your baby could complete somebodies family

If they wanted a child so badly, they would choose from the millions of kids in the foster care system.

I actually am really irritated when adoptive people ONLY want newborns. I would love to adopt an older child, if I can get my DH to agree.

Always? You're a child.

If you really want that baby, there are shelters you can go live at. I wouldn't recommend it though. The shelter here for teen moms will shelter any mother & child under 18. They help them finish school, get jobs, & proper childcare. if your smart enough to find this site, your smart enough to look up resources in your area online.

Welcome to being an adult. Good luck affording a child, home,bills and staying in school at 14. You're living in lala land. You know at 14 I thought I would love to be a mom some day... By 16 I was like smurf that!

I haven't read the whole thread quite yet to see if this has been mentioned, but what about the age of consent? I didn't think 14 was the age of consent anywhere, but I may be wrong.
