Hiccups

So ever since I got pregnant I get the hiccups all the time! A lot of times it will just be like one out of no where and then stop, but many times throughout the day. Does this happen to anyone else? Also I know this is probably just a fib, but some girl told me that getting the hiccups was a sign of distress for the baby. Anyone heard of that one?

Hiccups are very common in pregnancy. I never used to get the hiccups and since getting pregnant I have them all day on and off.

no that's not true about the distess....i had them all the time when i was prego, so did my son. he even had them as i was pushing him out, all the nurses thought it was cute. its totally normal

I haven't had hiccups at all, really. When I have heart burn and drink soda, I'll hiccup once after I swallow but that's it.

hiccups are normal. i dont see how theycould be a bad thingjust cause your preg.

If youre really concerned about it bring it up to your doctor.
