is it possible?

Okay, so i went to the doctor today and he sent me to get blood work. he said "to see if your pregnant" well i took 3 HPT's and they all said positive so how can i NOT be pregnant? The last one was a digital and it came up withint 30 seconds "pregnant"

maybe he just wants to check my HCG which will tell me how far along i am...als to check my progestrone (taking depositories right now) to see how long i need to be on them.

should i have any reason to think i'm NOT pregnant? I'm suppose to call tomorrow afternoon to check what the results are...also suppose to go on friday again since levels are suppose to double.

It's normal. They just have to verify for their own records.

almost all dr's do a blood test, HCG can't tell you how far along you are, it just confirms your pregnant.

It's standard practice to test you at the doctor. Every doctor does it. It's not that they don't trust you.

Thats what i was thinking and i missed AF so i'm 98% sure i'm pregnant.

so how would they know how far along i am other than u/s? besides they won't send me this early for one of them anyway...i guess when i call tomorrow they'll let me know when i should go.

Even with an ultrasound all babies develop diffrently in the beginning and I get an ultrasound at ever apt, but I'm high risk, Dr said once I hit further along he can acuratley give me a due date ( goodness I can't spell today!!)

yeah i know...i'm worried this pregnancy won't last...i m/c last time, but i have a good feeling about this one   but i'll still feel better once i get past that point this time...

so pretty much ii have nothing to be worried about? i'm def pregnant....right?

if you had 3 positives then yes 99.9% sure you are, don't stress take it easy, and just wait to hear your HCg levels, everything will be fine and you will be blessed, just don't stress

i'm trying my best to not stress about anything!! I keep telling myself that everything is going to be good this time and i'm gonna have a wonderful baby boy or girl in 9 months!!

i was at a friends house earlier and she has a 7 week old little boy and another friend of mine was holding him and he was crying...she gave him to me and he stopped. lol my friend (the mommy) said he probably sensed that you're pregnant...think thats true?
