Well we don't currently have a sprayer. So the ones that they have just peed in, we soak in the diaper pail with hot water and detergent. The poopy ones, we dump the poop into he toilet and soak them again in hot water and detergent. I always use a little bit of detergent regardless of them going into the washer after they are soaking bc I want to make sure they are extra clean. PS I can't wait to get a toilet sprayer bc I hate messing with poopy water too.

Edit: I forgot to mention I would use dreft detergent too. Right now we are making our own laundry detergent which works just as well but dreft is definitely the best when dealing with cloth diapers.

Actually dreft is TERRIBLE to use, OP.

Err no.. Dreft is HORRIBLE for cloth diapers. It causes build up.
I would only use Crunchy Clean Diaper Detergent.
Recently I've been suggested Nellie's, as well but have not tried it yet.

I use Ecos but I got a sample of Crunchy Clean and have been too afraid to use it.

Don't be scared! It's awesome! Never had an issue with it. I get the Baby Bee scent. Nommm. It always washes out clean! My diapers are never stinky.

Ooh! Thank you! Y'all are making it way too easy for me to not have to leave my house. I don't like going places anyway, and could quite easily become a hermit if I didn't have to grocery shop.

DREFT on cloth

Yeah, no bueno!

I use Rockin' Green's Hard Rock version (very hard water) but am trying to get samples of Ecos and Crunchy Clean to try because I want to be covered just in case Lil Miss is allergic or something since some babies have sensitivities to things.
