Handwashing cloth diapers?

Is it a pain in the ass to strictly hand wash cloth diapers?
We're looking into apartments that don't have hook ups for w/d & I don't want to be running to the laundromat every day.
Would it be bad to hand wash cloth diapers?

You'll get an arm workout and obviously it'll be a little more time consuming but it can be done. U get a bucket with a lid and a plunger. Cut a hole for the plunger handle And voila homemade washer. You'll need a big enough stash to Rotate in order to allot time for airdry.

I hand wash prefolds & covers. I'll be doing the same with my pockets when they arrive. I use a bucket & clean plunger to wash mine. I do a warm rinse with a good 20 plunges, hot with a little soap 50 plunges, & 3 cold rinses with around 20 plunges each. Its a good workout but A LOT easier than doing without the plunger as an agitator

When you take it off rinse it into the toilet with a sprayer them over to the sink and with a little bit of soap just wash it like a rag then hang it up. It takes minutes and you never have to worry about them piling up or staining...

Also! I intend to invest in a Wonderwash! You can get it off amazon for around $42 & can fit a good 8-10 pockets in there. I heard its a bit easier than the plunger/bucket wash
