leaking dont know if its my water or not....

o I've been feeling "wet" down there and my undies are wet but im not soaking a pad so I don't know if it is just discharge or if my water is leaking... im not having contractions... :/ I have a dr apt on Tuesday but do you guys think I should go to the hospital or just wait it out till Tuesday??

If you suspect your water is leaking, it couldn't hurt to go get it checked out, even if you're not contracting. If it is your fluid, you have to be careful not to get an infection. Better safe than sorry.

If you really think our water is leaking you should go in. Do you get a gush when you go from laying down to standing? Can you push and see if you eat a gush?

if your strep b positive definitely go to the hospital and get checked out. if your not strep b positive, you can safely wait it out at home. however, if the leaking continues and labor does not begin by tomorrow morning,i would suggest you call your dr to see what they recommend you do.

actually thinking about it more and more, you should just go into the hospital and have them check you. better safe than sorry.

It could be water or discharge. If you really think it could be your water you should go in. Have you laid down at all?

dry yourself real well, put on a clean pair of undies and see where the wet spot is. i know at the end of pregnancy the baby's weight on the bladder can make you leak, that is what happened to my cousin. but not everyone gushes when their water breaks, it can be a slow trickle too. good luck

Smell it... does it smell sweet? Like sugar water? If it does then it may be amniotic fluid.

I've been having the same problem especially at night but it's been going on for a couple weeks now and my doc didn't say anything about it when i asked so idk

I always get this   it's not your waters it's just discharge and it's really annoying because you have to keep wiping lol x

It may just be discharge caused from added pressure from the baby. Whatever the case, I would call your doc and get checked today. Just to be on the safe side.

You can't say definitely that it's not fluid leaking. Just because yours happens to be discharge, doesn't mean OP's is.
