help!!

I have a 2 year old boy. Last night when putting his diaper/clothes on after his bath, I noticed a foul odor coming from his "wee-wee". I pulled the skin back farther to find it was super super red and it said it hurt. It looks extremely raw. It doesn't seem to bother him when peeing or anything, only when you pull the skin back past the head of the penis. I've made him sit in a bath of warm water today and I've used some antibiotic/pain relief cream. My question is...what could be the cause of this and how do I help him. He screams in pain when I try to clean/doctor him. Any ideas?? Please help.

Could be a yeast infection.. Take him to the doctor.

if it was just red id say clean it but since its hurting thats why i would suggest the dr
