You know how your joints get all loose during pregnancy?

SPD is that...supercharged!

Your pelvic bones begin to separate and loosen a LOT more than other Preggos and then when you walk, the bones can shift and move and cause serious pain and throw your entire alignment out of whack with the pelvic bones twisting and grinding.

NOT pleasant!

have two daughters who were both born at 36 weeks. one is 4 and the other is turning 2 in june and with my oldest my water broke but no contractions till hours later and my second i had horrible pain when sleeping and getting up out of bed and walking. well i woke up one morning and had no pain and just felt odd and went to l&d and i was 5 almost 6 cm dilated and had to go home to make my water break on its own or to wait till i got strong contractions. well my contractions got to were my back hurt so bad i couldnt really walk and i went back in and was almost an 8 so they kept me. both times i never really had the contractions hurting bad labor type stuff some women get or like on the movies. one thing my doc told me was if the pain and tightness goes from either belly to back or back to belly they are contractions not braxton hicks hope that helps a lil

Oh my God that sounds horrible does it go away after you have the baby or is it something you live/deal with every day?

It goes away when your progesterone and relaxin levels go back to norm after baby. Takes a few weeks.

And it does suck, but its not totally miserable yet. I do okay some days and do best in the mornings. But, the further along I get, the less it takes to make it hurt and the pain is definitely worse than it was when I first started having it a month ago.

Putting on pants and going up stairs are the worst by far. But only 7-10more weeks to go
