what do i do?!

posted 10th Mar
I posted something similar the other day but this is my big fear come true... i put dd in her back to sleep, she fell asleep.. checked on her 10 mins later and she was face down, head not to the side and arm completly covering her face on both sides. you could hear her breathing loudly because her mouth was covered all the way. i know besides checking on her there isnt much i can do but im so freaked out. i also know sids drops a lot after 6 months but it still happebs...

How old is she? She should move if she couldn't breathe. Sometimes my dd does that and then she'll stir around and move after awhile.

My dd has slept face down with her butt up and her special blankie over her face and always has. Before she could roll over she slept on her back with the blankie over her face. First month of her sleeping through the night was the hardest for me but I'm use to it now. I felt myself like physically relax on her 1st bday this week because I know the chance of SIDS basically disappears.

Maybe get an anti roll sleep positioner? I don't know how old your LO is though.

Those are actually not recommended anymore as they pose more of a risk than benefits.

OP, she'll adjust herself if she cant breathe

You're not getting on my nerves. I just posted that 2 seconds after you posted saying how old she is.
I know you're nervous about it but there's honestly is nothing you can do. She probably didn't move her head because she was comfortable.
