How much is normal?

I didn't spot with my daughter at all...we miscarried last May and I spotted off and on starting at 6 weeks...i'm 7 weeks tomorrow. I've been spotting the last few days..first it was a bright red dot or two...now today it's like a constant red/light brown discharge no cramping though..I know some spotting is normal but how much and how often is it normal? I'm not sure if I should call the doc or not. I't snot heavy just every time I wipe it's always full of red  

I would call the doctor now.

It isn't going to hurt anything and it will ease your mind since you have a history of miscarriage.

if i were you i would go to the er. they will do an ultrasound to see if there is a baby in there. i had the same symptoms you did, started out slowly then got heavy within 24 hours then 24 hours later was gone and i had no cramping. i am not trying to scare you but only be realistic. i went to the er and it was a miscarriage. i hope thats not the case with you but i would go in now. good luck!

i had spotting for 2 weeks, brown, pink, and red and went to the er at 6w4d and baby had a heartbeat and fetal pole and everything looked great..

i still spotted and ended up having a miscarriage at 8w exactly when i actually started getting cramps...

i would go get checked out :/

I'm not going to the ER only to pay a bill and they won't do anything for me to save the baby. I will call the doc first thing in the am though for sure.

at 7weeks there is nothing anyone not even the ob can do to "save" a baby.... been there   good luck

That's why I said I wasn't going to the ER...whats meant to be will be   Just hurts my heart a lot. I will keep you guys posted in the am on what the doc says to do.
