kinda feel like im being abit over dramatic when i ring doctors.. might leave it a few hours and see if it gets any better.. if not ill ring, also i havent lost this "plug" that i keep reading about? just fed up now even said to the bump are you staying in or comming out.. its so frustrating being in pain and not knowing wheather its real or not? also dont like to worry my partner as he can get worried if i get pains or have to ring docs? xx

i'm 37 weeks and I have been feeling the same way. I get this awful pressure pain in my back and it goes down my legs. I've also been having period like cramps that runs down both legs. I hate not knowing either but if the pain isn't enough to make me cry I just try to ignore it. I've been going through this for 3 days so I don't know if I'm getting ready to have this baby or not. Either way it wont be much longer for either of us. Good luck

Is this your first baby? I have a daughter but she is 7 years old and I was induced with her. I have no idea what to expect this time around. I just hope that I go on my own this time.

Yea the first time is hard because you have no idea what it feels like. Even though I have a daughter that was 7 years ago so It's kinda like I'm starting over. You will know when it's time trust me lol. That pain is like no other.

I was induced but I ended up going into slow labor on my own the night before and it felt exactly like that. I just went straight to the hospital though bc I was already getting induced the next day. And the plug I didn't lose that until right before giving birth same with my water.

maybe, possibly... but doesn't matter at this point.

until they are coming every 3 -5 minutes lasting at least a minute, for at least a couple hours.. no need to worry or go to the hospital.

I had contractions frequently for the last couple months of my pregnancy

I'm 38 weeks and the last couple days i have been having the same problem. They came so close together last night that i was going to time them and when i got my stop watch the cramps and pain stopped.

I've had similar pain off and on over the last couple of weeks. It could be round ligament pain. It's related to the muscles that hold your uterus in place. With my first pregnancy I went to the hospital a few times because I was having contractions before I was full-term. Each time, they hooked me up to an IV and had me lay down for a few hours. Every time it made them stop. Being dehydrated can cause contractions. So now, with any baby-related pain I try changing positions, drinking lots of water, or taking it easy for a little while. One of those always helps the pain to go away. If trying that doesn't help, then I would definitely call your Dr.
