Hmm what are the chances?

Just been thinking about this the last few days. I dont REALLY think I'm having twins, but twins do run in both my fathers side, and mothers side of the family. I know the more pregnancys you have the higher change. This will be my 4th pregnancy, we lost 2 babies, then DD who is now 3. However no use of fertility drugs or IVF. Also I know being over 35 increases the chances which I am not. If you had twins, what number pregnancy was it? Did you use fertility drugs/IVF? Were you under 35? Haha either way I'm only expecting to see one baby next week! I'm just curious about the circumstances!

It was my first pregnancy and I was 20 when I conceived (21 at birth). They run on my moms side and we due to happen my generation (they run every other gen in my family). My cousin and I both had them so far.

dang! haha We havent had twins in about 2 generations now. My mom is convinced we're due for twins

I know a girl who is in her early 20's (22 or 23 maybe) and it was her third pregnancy that she had twins. They were completely unplanned, so no drugs used. I don't know her that great so I'm not sure her family history but as far as I know none of her or her siblings are twins.

Yeah I can't believe she's under 25 with 4 kids! Lol I mean so was SO's mom, but I agree twins would be nuts. Like I can't imagine all those kids; one pre-school age, a toddler (almost 2 years) and 4 month twins!

haha yeah no kidding. Though another odd thing was my 3 year old told me I was going to give her a brother AND a sister lol right after i had a dream about twins ( one a boy and a girl) now it's on my mind!

Oh wow! I'm a HUGE believer in dreams telling the future. People call me nuts. But if I have a real seeming dream (not just a bunch of craziness like my usual dreams lol) it usually comes true. Right now I believe someone is pregnant but can't figure out who haha. I had a dream about it and I already know a few pregnant people so this has to be someone new. I just don't know who it could be lol but I'm guessing someone in SO's family. Or me   hopefully not lol.

But my point is, lol, especially in little kids I think those things can come to us. But also sometimes little kids are just really creative. I used to BEG my mom for a sister and she said one day I walked up to her and sighed and was like "okay, I'll even take a brother, Mom" Lmao.

haha aww how cute. Yeah I'm a huge believer in dreams too. I have some weird dreams that in some ways end up coming true sometimes. My mom forever a skeptic even takes stock in my dreams now haha. I told her about a bad dream i had about my step dad about him spending bad money (which in all fairness he has a history of)now she's like uh oh i better keep an eye on things lol

But yeah I'm hoping DD is just being a kid about that haha. I told her i was making a baby blanket and you make it in 4 sections so I just got done with the second and shes like well this one is for my brother, and this one for my sister. Both of them are littttttttle babies.   I tried to explain that she could have a brother OR a sister. Nope she wouldn't have it haha

haha oh i'll be freaking out! when they do the US imma be like wiggle that thing around make sure there isnt one hiding! lol

haha oh snap. well i figured that this being my 4th pregnancy will certainly raise the chances, that and the twins running in the family. But the thing that really set me into thinking this was I'm only 7 weeks, i can feel my uterus poking out a tiny bit, and i've been getting horrrrrible uterus stretching pains haha I saw someone talking about that since they are having twins.

But then again I know with each pregnancy your uterus pokes out sooner. Though only one pregnancy has gotten past 10 weeks =\ So i dunno

I found out it was twins at 6 weeks because I went into the ER due to so much pain for me only being a few weeks. Just being in all that pain told me I was having twins right then and there and I was more than right. So you just may be having twins. You never know. It's a lot of them being conceived lately.

yeah i've noticed that too! lots of twins going around lol I swear every time i stand up i feel my uterus stretching so painfully. I never had that with DD until like 20 weeks+ But I'll find out for sure the 18th haha.
