Any High Risk Pregnancies?

Hi everyone,
I'm Amber, this is my first pregnancy and I'm high risk. I have a rare disease called Hirschprung's Disease, and have had 3 surgeries on my stomach already. Because of this disease, gaining weight is really hard for me (ensure has been my best friend) and they are trying to avoid a C Section at all costs.
By March 27th, I'm going to have a total of 7 Ultrasounds.
Any who, I'm scared about passing this onto my daughter and her getting hurt in any way. So far they've found Choroid Plexus Cyst and Fetal echogenic bowel of the fetus (which I'm hoping isn't linked to Hirscprung's Disease or worst).

I'd like to know everyone else's story and how they've been going through the process or have dealt with being High Risk in the past.

Wow that's crazy   I had a rare complication called vasa previa. I spent the last month of my preg in the hospital and had her at 35+4 via csection. It was really hard emotionally and mentally. I had a lot to worry about everyday. I am now in counseling for PTSD from everything. I could write out my story all day. Hmm maybe I will do that....

I think you should write it out. It could help with your healing process and help a young mother in need of support

Yeah it might help with my recovery. It's been pretty hard to even talk or thjnk about which is why I started counseling. But it might be a good time now.

Any other High Riskers out there?

High risk is such a broad category but yes I am. I have 3 other children and have a habit of going into labour at the beginning of my third trimesters. With my first I had a placenta previa and went into preterm labor before they knew about it's existance and so I had a great deal of bleeding. This also complicated the preterm labor but fortunately I had a vaginal birth to a 39 week baby at the end of it all. I also had PPROM with my first two babies, where the water ruptures preterm and without contractions. I also have a clotting disorder that makes me prone to hemorrhaging while delivering. We only discovered this during a common surgery when a few days afterward I lost 2.5 liters of blood in less than 20 minutes while at home.
