What does pork taste like?

Just wondering.

It tastes like pork. It's not overly strong by itself, but takes seasoning very well.

It's weird because when I see pork chops or whatever the meat looks white like chicken, but when I see bacon it's like red/brown. So I was wondering what it tastes more like or what other meats it would be comparable to.

I've had turkey bacon.

chops and ham steaks some from a different part of the pig than bacon, and usually bacon has been smoked or cured before it is bought in the store.

Pork taste pretty amazing in my opinion. Some of it is kinda salty and it taste different from poultry and beef.

Hmm its a bit saltier than other meats, if cooked right it pretty much melts in your mouth nom nom nom. I love me some bacon. lol

but yeah pork chops are whitish/pinkish when cooked. despite popular belief it is OKAY for them to be a bit pink as long as the internal temp is 165. I like pork more than chicken personally.

I completely forgot ham exists. And sausage/pepperoni. It seems pretty much everyone eats pepperoni. For those who have had both turkey or beef pepperoni and pork pepperoni, do they taste the same? I've had turkey pepperoni.

no way can i see it to chicken either lol. chicken has a strong taste. Pork has a lighter taste.

I love to put some country style ribs in the crock pot with a can of peaches in syrup....cook it slow all day and oh my god, when it's done....it's incredible.

depends on what part of the pig it's from. I love bacon ( or anything fattening lol ) ham and pork chops. all taste different and look different. I'm not a fan of pork roast .

I've got no idea. I've never had it. But it smells gross.

yummm yumm! I usually like a slow cook ribs on a grill, but we are with out one right now. So I found a way to do it in tin foil low in the oven, Oh gawd it fell off the bone! mmmm!
