And you are so right. Ive had the scare and worry of seeing it, but never had those worries confirmed. Id deff get checked if it happened again. But wouldt freak out if it happened once and i was still feeling baby

Meh, I had spotting a few weeks. I could still feel baby squirming around, but it freaked me the hell out. I guess I have a different experience, though. I still check the toilet paper daily for blood. I still wonder every day whether I'll get to meet this baby alive or not. It sucks to be jaded.

I think tne sme things, becAuse you never know. But i havent had to deal with it before so thats probably why i dont worry so much. I know smurf happens, my mom was having a normla pregnancy until she fell flat on her stomach on a conrete parking block thing and went into labor becuase he placenta was detatching and deliverd my sister on her firat day of her 24th week. You just dont know. Pregnancy is nerve wrecking.

She turns 13 on the 31st of this month   she was a pound and 3 ounces and had craniosinastsis (sp?) and had surgery to fix that at around 5 mo ths old and after that surgery she quickly caught up. Always has been teeny tiny, but healthy

If they dont have an after hours line call your L&D and ask if they will let you come in. Better to be safe!

hi mommy to be. i can tell you as a mom of many and a nurse that any time you have mucous with blood that appears to be old brown blood is a good time to get yourself down to labor and delivery as this may very well be the infamous mucous plug aka bloody show. it's not the same for anyone/everyone and considering that your little one has not reached the sufficient age of 27 weeks gestation; is not making surfactant for their lungs to function, I would definitely go to L & D and get evaluated as soon as possible! It is possible in such an early part of your pregnancy to have painless or barely noticeable contractions that can cause cervical changes resulting in dilation and loss of the plug. I don't mean to scare you but I would go get evaluated asap, as I said.
