causes miscariage??!!??!!

I just ate about half a pineapple. Then i hear that its not safe to eat while pregnant because it contains Bromelain. has anyone else heard of this, and should i be freaking the Sm*rf out, or do you think its an old wives tales..... TIA

Lol that is a new one to me. I ate tons and have a healthy 11 month old. You are just fine.

from what i understand there is no adequate research linking eating pineapple to miscarriage

I think you have to eat like 7 whole pineapples to cause any harm at all.

no, fresh. I got from king soopers it comes pre-cut and washed in tubs.

I've been eating a lot of pineapple, so I hope not. I think you'd have to eat a ton of it for it do anything.

I ate pineapple all the time... 3 healthy babies later I would have to say ITS OK!

Supposedly it can induce labor if you eat enough so I would guess there is a risk

It seems like everything I eat causes miscarriages  . I wouldn't worry about it, lol.

Kinda like you can have a cocaine overdose on like 20 lbs of dark chocolate.... It's not going to happen.

I eat pineapple. Ate quite a bit of it after I first found out I was pregnant. I couldn't eat a lot of cooked food(hot food didn't sit well on my stomach), so I ate fresh fruits and veggies all the time. I am currently 23 weeks pregnant with a very healthy baby boy.

I believe it is bad in large quantities.

I've ate fresh pineapple my entire pregnancy and am 39 weeks and 3 days. I would say there is no need to worry. 

Also it's said you have to eat the core too for it to induce labor.
