First PP period cramps

Where your cramps worse your first pp period? I gave birth to baby(at 15 weeks) vaginally and then 12 days later had a d&c. My doctor said the first PP period might be a little different. I started today and am having the worst cramps! Was your period heavier, or with more cramping?
