Everywhere is different. I had the smurf kicked out of me and my ex bf punched me in the face when we were in the car. The police pulled him over and said someone called to report it and just told him not to do it again.

It most definitely doesn't work that way here.
They get out the next working day.

Yeah and dh and his father are bail bondsmans. He would be out in hours leaving me with no place to gi.

of course they bond out, but they do take the ride.

If courts don't take it any further though then it can just leave women and kids even more vulnerable. I'd recommend OP go somewhere safe first, taking important documents and some stuff for them and things that are special.

There is the issue though i have no where to go.

Are there any women's shelters or safe houses in your area?

I tried that but they won't help because they are to full and my life isn't in danger.

Have you tried calling all the ones you can find? Do you know anyone you could stay with at all? Or anyone you could borrow money from to rent a place until you get a job and/or welfare/aid of some kind? Or do you have anything you could sell so you could do that yourself (like wedding rings   )
