My DH won't be home until May, but I still wanna be prepared.
What is a good/safe b/c?? I tried the pill last month, and forgot to take it at least 3 times already... So I discontinued that... The IUD scares me because of all the horror stories I've heard... I heard the shot causes massive weight gain... I heard nuva ring had hormone issues... The implant sounds like it would hurt?
What did yall use? Did you have any major issues?

We just use condoms... sometimes. We are half-assedly TTC.  

But, it's worked so far. The last time I was pregnant was in 2011.

Any hormonal birth control can cause weight gain.

Pill- Tried it and always forgot to take
Depo-No issues other than weight gain
Patch-Loved it but lost insurance and couldn't afford it
Nuvaring-Loved it!! Got it after DS was born before switching. Very easy and never bothered me. No side effects
Nexplanon(new Implanon)- Love it. Got it back in November. No pain getting it put in... They numb you first. Quick and easy. Only problem i have is the random pregnancy like symptoms that come up randomly lol. But otherwise I love it.

I'm on the pill and have had no issues. The thing I do to remember taking it is set an alarm on my phone everyday for 7pm. That way I never forget. It's worked pretty good so far.

it's a pretty big ring, you don't have to feel too far in to feel it.
