Wanting to be done being pregnant at 37 weeks

posted 9th Mar
I am 37 weeks today!! Hurray! Is it bad that I want to try everything I can to naturally induce labour? I've had such bad hip pains since 21 weeks and they're only getting stronger. I've had contractions into false labour a week ago. My hubby doesn't want me to try to let it come naturally. I'm also trying a vbac which is easier if the baby is smaller for it to be successful. I'm just so done being pregnant I miss being in control of my body and eating the foods I love.

Just smurfing wait.

And your husband is not the one carrying the child. He should shut his pie hole and do some research.

If you can't be bothered staying pregnant, why get pregnant in the first place? Yes it's bad you want to evict your kid three weeks early.

3 weeks until your due date definitely need to wait. You're baby isn't ready yet.

Also having an induction makes the chances of emergency C Section go way up. Plus you're having a VBAC... Think about that.

I mean, yeah. You shouldn't try to evict him. BUT I understand where you're coming from. 3 weeks more. You don't know how big or small the baby is. I was told Holden would be 9 lbs at 35 weeks and he was born at 39 w 9 days and was barely 6 1/2 lbs. Don't rush it momma.

Yeah, it is bad. I get that you want to be done but pregnancy sucks and it hurts and whatnot. You only have a few weeks left. Also, your husband is a dill hole.

I understand being uncomfortable and sick of being pregnant. I have been there, but do not try to induce labor before your baby is ready! You are supposed to be pregnant for 40 weeks for a reason... Let your baby finish cooking!

i have had severe hip and pelvic pain since about 17 weeks and its not getting better. i went overdue with my last two kids and had pain for about as long (its every pregnancy) just wait it out. you can never be sure how mature your babys lung are yet. 37 weeks its not full term yet and the dating could be off by a week at least. your baby will come when hes ready or at your due date time your doc will talk to youa bout an induction but since your having a vbac you should really avoid induction. (just from what i have heard that the contractions are so much harder and faster)

I had my twins at 31 weeks. Which was certainly not of our choosing. Actually, if you've ever had a vbac, my chances go UP the closer I get to my due date and after because of the baby being large enough to rip my incision. I have a hard time moving around and looking after my twins with how much hip pain I'm in, to the point where I left work early just because I couldn't do my job anymore. At this point this little kiddo is just packing on the pounds.

You have kids, you know you aren't going to magically not be in pain or get lots of sleep after giving birth, don't rush it.

If you had actual medical concerns your doctor would support you and schedule an induction.
