I'm scared

My sister just went to jail yesterday. She will be there for 5 months. I am scared that I will not get to see my nieces until she comes home. Her husband and his family do not like us. We are poor trash to them. I just pray her husband will let us see the girls. She just had her youngest last month. We barely get to see them as it is. I have no way there, even if I did, his grandparents say we are not allowed in the house because they are the ones who bought it. I wish they didn't live so far away. I miss them so much. Gah, I am trying not to cry.  

Why did she go to jail?

My husband never gets to see his niece or nephew because their mom is a heartless bitch. He was there the days both of them were born but since his brother has turned into a deadbeat, now she keeps them from his whole family. So smurfed up. I hate people like that and I really hope they don't keep them from you.

It is a long story. She made some bad decisions in her past. She got a new probation officer when she moved and she is a smurf. She started bringing up old smurf saying she should have went to jail. Well now she is in jail.

I can't stand women like that   DS1's biological father doesn't have anything to do with DS1 (he isn't even on his birth certificate) but I still let his family see him (and my other kids of course lol). They baby sit when they want, and we go see them and have some holidays with them if we have time.

PO's can't just have you locked up for past crimes.

I already dont get to see one of my nephews because of that. I have two nephews. My brother refuses to have anything to do with either one of his sons. Now I do not not get to see them. One is in another state. She lets us see him when they come here. The other one, who was born 5 days after DD, lives 15 minutes away. She will not let us see him.

Well when I say past crimes I mean a month or two ago. Crimes she has not committed with this PO. I do not know all the details. She does deserve to be in jail. But now she has changed. As soon as she tries, she goes to jail.

i had 2 warrants from when i was 18 and 19... i was a hot mess till i was 24, got clean, finished 2nd degree, got married and got picked up... spent 1 week in county getting put on programs, couple months later I got preg, i was modeling sooo i lost my contract couldn't afford the 2 classes every week, when i could pay the 120. 1 week, they sent letter to court... next day i was picked up, back in county pregnant for 1 week... eventually it all got worked out and expunged, but i even told the last cop who took me in, if he would have caught me a few years ago in my prime, u would have these bullsmurf lil charges on me they wouldn't have even set bail... lol

im sorry ur family is going through this its never easy and I've been on both ends, ur parents have rights they can take them to court for visitation....
just be there for ur sister, she will either have a clear head and know and understand even tho she was turning things around, we still have to deal with our past, or she will think it dosn't matter if shes straight or messing up shes gong to get ringed anyways... its a hard decision to make on her part,

It is just all so confusing. I wish there was something I could do. I wish she never did the things she did.

we all can wish things didn't happen, but we have to own up to it, and like i said, the stuff i got charged with was nothing compared to what i have actually done... im very sorry i hurt my family, but we all do dumb things, part of learning who we are, and what we are capable of... each time i was in county i was completely sober... and that pissed me off to see all these other inmates on lock down 23 hours a day getting the best sleep of their lives and I'm laying there shaking kool aid in a sprite bottle with no sugar... counting how many bricks it took to make the cell 

It's 5 months, not 5 years. It'll fly by
