five year old pluse one on the way, help!

okay, so my daughter is five, she's been grate about me being prego, and being on bed rest up intel the last couple weeks. when we have been getting bags ready for the baby to come home she's been doing nothing but screaming at me throwing fits, and when i ground her from things she get worse, and tell's me she going to do nothing but scream, and throw a fit, but i staind my ground, and dont unground her, but she's getting worse, she had me so worked upp yesterday, that i ended up throwing up for 20 min with blood in my mucuse, i need help, idk what else i can do, is this a normal thi ing or is something really rong here because im at my wites end i dont know what else to do anymore and i feel like im about to loose my mind………… are there any other moms out there that have gone thru this??

I'd first suggest that you understand that this is a HUGE change for her too, and a change that she did not chose. She is still young, she doesn't fully understand what's going on and she needs your reassurance and attention.

Her yelling and stuff isn't okay by any means but maybe just sitting down with her, alone and talking to her about what is wrong will help ease her mind. Grounding her and getting that worked up isn't doing anything but causing her more stress, in my opinion.

How are you going about it? Are you approaching her calmly (even if she's screaming at you) and being understanding.

Little things are a big deal to little kids. I went through this with my 3 year old while I was pregnant. When she'd act out we'd talk about what was wrong, talk about the baby and how they'll be best friends, etc.

sometimes , but not always, there are days where i have just been cranky all around, and its like when she dose start talking she go's off on a whole other subject and then gets mad about that as well, as what she was mad about before hand, but she always talks nice to bubby in the belly, and she's always saying that shes excited, i dont know maybe its j
