So fun!

I am not feeling good this morning and the kids wanted to go outside and play in the new foot of snow we have. I just don't have the energy so instead I gave them markers and made some stencils and they have been coloring on our front bay window for the last hour and a half. It's so quiet and they are so content to do this, I don't know why I haven't thought of this before. Genius!

If you have squirt bottles you can put water in those and add some food coloring to it and they can draw in the snow with the colored water. Idk how your neighborhood is or if it is possible, but maybe you could just pull a chair or something to the door or window and watch them through there? I'm sure that would keep the occupied long enough for them to get cold and ready to some inside so you don't have to really worry about them running some where you can't see them.
We neer get snow and I have wanted to draw in the snow since I saw it on pinterest.

Ohh ill have to pick up some squirt bottles. We live in a great neighborhood in a great little town but I still wouldn't let them go out alone (they're 6 and 2) so ill do it with them maybe tomorrow when I'm feeling better or maybe DH can take them out.
